Are your cats destroying your furniture with those claws? Do not De-claw them - you can train them not to scratch your stuff. I have 6 cats and they all use the scratching posts I have provided to them. Not all scratching posts are ugly either. You would be amazed at how many styles there are and if you are a crafty you can even make your own. My cats prefer the sisal type and also will use the basic cardboard ones too.
Using Catnip that is. I have 6 cats and sometimes I feel like a feline drug dealer. My cats just love a good sniff of that leafy green stuff. If you have cats and never dealt them some Catnip then I recommend you do so - they love - well most of them do. Some cats, very few, do not get the same silly reaction to Catnip. Catnip is not dangerous and your cat will not be an addict so no need to worry - there will be no Feline Interventions needed. There is just something about it that gets them frisky and it is quite fun to watch. I do not leave my catnip out all the time - I think it is more fun to give them some every now and then so they do not get to use to it and not want it.
If you are in need of a Litter Box and you are trying to find the best one on the market - look no further - The Roll Away Litter Box by Omega is what you need. I have 6 cats and I have found the best, easiest to clean and not expensive Cat Litter Box. I swear this is the easiest litter box to clean - all you do is roll it over, roll it back and then pull the draw out and all the yuckies are in there. Of course you will need to make the switch to clumping litter, but it really is cheaper in the long run. I clean my box no more than once a day and my house stays litter box smell free. Now I also want to say I have a Maine Coon who is a big boy and fits in there just fine.
First let me start by saying I am the proud owner of 6 cats - all rescues of course. I call them my Six Pack - there names are Bugsy, Sticker, Fang, Scar and Sushi. I have had cats all my life and could never live my life without having one. Cats bring me joy, make me laugh, drive me crazy (in a good way), bring me love and keep me company.
